'The Fire and the Quest': We Did It!

FQ Cast NEIL'The Fire and the Quest' festival celebrating 10 years of Clive Nolan Musicals took place on September 4th and 5th, 2015. The artists of the Caamora Theatre Company performed three shows in front of the sold out venue of the Playhouse Theatre in Cheltenham, UK. Clive’s jubilee was commenced with the premiere of a brand new production of his first musical, 'She', followed by the off-West End version of 'Alchemy', both directed by Ian Baldwin. Saturday acoustic concert, hosted by Clive himself and featuring, among others, some of the original performers from both musicals, gave a chance to reminisce about the past 10 years of Clive’s musical journey. The event was a great success and fun for performers and the audience alike.

Clive Nolan: "There is no doubt that ‘The Fire and the Quest’ weekend is over, and what a fantastic weekend it was! The plethora of terrific performances, the culmination of such brilliant work and preparation, and of course the wonderful reaction of the lovely people who travelled from the corners of the world to see us in action. It’s the audience that really makes a show, and guys… you made it! I felt proud, moved and excited all in one heady mixture! This was truly a lifetime highlight!"

'The Fire and the Quest' Logo Designed!

Fire and Quest Ad FINAL fbThe logo for 'The Fire and the Quest' jubilee event has been designed! Mark Buckingham, an internationally acclaimed DC Comics graphic artist, combined the elements of both Clive Nolan's musicals, 'SHE' and 'Alchemy', producing a delightful design in the Victorian Steampunk vein.

Clive Nolan: “I really wanted to find a way to encapsulate both the shows in the artwork. I think Mark has achieved this brilliantly with his design - the balance between 'SHE' and 'Alchemy' is just right! This truly defines the event!”

Thank you, Reichenbach!

11363 684765001640895 1819077044279664650 nWe are back from a very satisfying weekend in Germany. The show in Reichenbach turned out to be a huge success as well as a pleasurable experience. We hope to be getting back to Germany soon!

Clive Nolan: "What an excellent weekend! An epic journey to Reichenbach, followed by a terrific evening of 'Alchemy' in front of our biggest audience to date! A brilliant performance by the whole cast and band (well done guys), was received with such warmth and enthusiasm by the wonderful German audience, all rounded off with a standing ovation and getting to meet many many smiling faces after the show. We finished the show, and all left the stage and I went backstage to change some clothes and sort a few things out... I was then sitting down having a well earned drink when someone pointed out that the audience was still clapping and cheering... Couldn't believe it! Massive 'thank yous' to Uwe Treitinger and all the guys behind the show. It was a triumph!”
